Hope House Detroit

Hope House Detroit began in 2010 when Gary and Becky Gentry, inspired by their deep love for the community and passion for nurturing young people, turned meaningful relationships into something bigger—a thriving community center for kids. What started as simple connections soon grew into a space where children are seen, encouraged, and supported as they move toward their potential.

Here, we do more than just show up—we walk together, talk together, play together, and pray together. We believe transformation happens through connection, and at Hope House, relationships are at the heart of everything we do.

Fueled by the power of human connection and rooted in faith, we are on this journey together—students and mentors alike. Because when we invest in each other, we create lasting change, one relationship at a time.
